This Broom 35 has 2 economical Food 120's. She will cruise inland or Coastal as these hulls are semi-displacement and very seaworthy. With a flybridge and internal helm position, it is comfortable to cruise in both wet and sunny weather and with accommodation for 7 is a true family cruiser.
The forward cabin has 3 berths and is adjacent to the forward loo with a shower. The galley next has a new gas cooker with a Waeco Fridge and hot and cold water into the sink with plenty of space for storage of food and utensils. The Saloon has the lower helm position to port and a pull out double bed in the starboard seating. There is plenty of cupboard space and shelves which pull out for holding trays etc. Under the floor are the 2 Ford engines which only less than 2000 hours each. There is a clorifier connected to the port engine which heats the water for the whole boat and in addition, there is an electric element when you are connected to shore power.
The aft cabin has an ensuite toilet and shower and although there are single berths these can be easily converted to a double if required. All the accommodation is in wood in very good condition.
The flying bridge is protected with a zipped canvas cover so the upper helm and instruments are protected underway.
With radar, chart plotter and AIS, 2 VHF radios, depth sounder, speed log and full engine instrumentation she is ready for any voyage.

Forward cabin with 3 berths. Adjacent to this cabin is the forward toilet with shower. Saloon midships with pull out double bed when needed for guests. The aft cabin has 2 single beds but can easily revert to a double bed should the new owner require the facility. This cabin has an ensuite toilet and shower. All the cabins are built with excellent wood panels with a high amount of storage cupboards.
The galley has a new gas cooker with 2 burners, grill and oven. Also fitted is an excellent Waeco fridge and freezer.
Fibreglass Hull and deck. As the yacht was built in 1978 and built by Broom the hull is very substantial and strong. The hull below the waterline was scraped and epoxied in 2020 and antifouled.
3 sets of 24v batteries plus a smart charger with Diodes thus charging all 3 batteries automatically.
24v Webasto Diesel heater feeding all cabins with hot air.
There are a bathing platform and a boarding ladder at the rear.
Radar, chart plotter, depth sounder, electronic compass, speed meter, full engine instrumentation both at flybridge and lower helm position.
Ford Mercraft 6 Cylinder nonturbo Diesels. 1800 hours. Both in good condition and bulletproof. The port engine provides hot water to the calorifier when underway. Engines serviced 2020 with new filters, impellers, and oil change. All hoses checked.
The engines give a cruising speed of around 8 knots with a maximum speed circa 12 knots.
Life ring on deck, the gas detector in the galley, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector in saloon.
Fire blanket in the galley, extinguishers in saloon and in the engine room.
