The Cornish Shrimper is by far the most popular British built production gaffer of all time with over 1100 being built since 1979. This later example was built in 2005 and has hull number 955.

Laid out in what is termed the '2+ a loo' layout, the internal woodwork is finished in the later 'New England'-style with tongue and grooved effect vertical faces and white-washed hullside wood.
The cabin offers two comfortably wide berths that run aft, beneath the cockpit's seats, with a fixed marine-flushing toilet, mounted within a recess formed in the internal moulding on the centreline.
Cushions are covered in the 'Cochin' Madura fabric option, with matching privacy curtain.
The top washboard is of 'smoked-grey' acrylic to lend light to the interior.
